For me, it was a chance to connect with the culture and link with the locations that are an inseparable part of what I believe in and hold dear. Places that I’ve read about in my Bible were suddenly right there in front of me…touchable and tangible! Everywhere I looked, there was yet another reminder of how real and reliable Christianity is. And as a result, the reality of Christ’s love for me came alive like never before.
Israel was such a refreshing experience that we’re going back, and words can’t express how excited I am to have you join us. As you continue to prepare for our upcoming trip, let me encourage you to pray that this would be completely different from any venture you’ve ever taken. Pray that it would be a time when the Lord radically refreshes your faith in Him and in His love for you.
