Join This Unforgettable Christian Conference with Joel C. Rosenberg & Israel Tour Event
It is with great excitement about God’s love for the people of Israel that I cordially invite you to join us for the 2011 Jerusalem Epicenter Conference. The conference dates are May 15-16, 2011 and we’ve created a variety of different Israel tours surrounding the conference to give you an unforgettable experience that will deepen your love and awareness for God’s Holy Land, as it strengthens your faith.
If you have never been to the Holy Land, it is hard to describe what a profound spiritual effect such a journey can have on you and your family. You may have heard others say God’s Word seemed to “come alive” in a new way when they walked where Jesus walked, from the shores of Galilee to the Mount of Olives and into the streets of Jerusalem. Well, it’s true, and I believe our 2011 Israel trip will allow you to experience this for yourself and intensify your desire to walk more closely with Jesus Christ.
If you have been to Israel before, this trip will be a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of how powerfully the Lord is moving there. Please prayerfully consider joining us. I would love to see you there!
Yours to bless Israel and her neighbors in the name of Jesus,

Joel C. Rosenberg

Epicenter is Joel's first nonfiction book, focusing on the rapidly rising Iranian nuclear threat, why Russia is selling arms and nuclear technology to Iran, why Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes it is the end of the world and why Ahmadinejad is saying that the way to hasten the coming of the Islamic Messiah is to annihilate the United States and Israel. Using exclusive interviews with U.S., Israeli, Arab and Russian leaders and previously classified documents from the White House, CIA and State Department, Joel examines 10 future headlines that could come out of Russia and the Middle East, and does so in the light of Islamic, Jewish and Christian eschatology (end-times theology). Epicenter has spent months on the New York Times, Publishers Weekly and CBA best-seller lists. It is currently being turned into a documentary for a major national television network.

Skip Heitzig is a native of southern California, and experienced the volatile days of the counter-culture in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. Though raised in a religious home, Skip saw religion as a dead-end street with no answers. But, when he was 18, the Lord reached him with the Gospel through a Billy Graham TV Crusade, and Skip immediately prayed to receive Christ. Skip studied under Chuck Smith at Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa until 1981, when he and his wife Lenya moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1982, he began a home Bible study which eventually grew into Calvary of Albuquerque— considered the fastest-growing church in America in the late ‘80s.
Today, Calvary of Albuquerque ministers to over 14,000 people weekly, and it has spun off churches in Arizona, Colorado, and other parts of New Mexico. Skip reaches out across the nation and the world with his multi-media ministry, including a half-hour radio program, “The Connection,” his books—including When God Prays, How to Study the Bible and Enjoy It, and Jesus Up Close—and his Lifestyle Series of booklets. Skip earned his B.A. and M.A. from Trinity Seminary. He currently serves on several Boards of Directors, including Samaritan’s Purse.

Dr. Hormoz Shariat is the founder and President of "Iran Alive Ministries" (IAM), whose mission is to transform Iran with the power of the Gospel.
Hormoz himself is an Iranian Muslim convert. He has a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a BA in Bible and Theology. In 1987, he planted a church in San Jose, California. With more than 250 Muslim converts, it is the largest such church in the United States.

Watched by an estimated 7-9 million people, IAM's program has brought more than 250,000 Muslims to Jesus Christ since December 2001. IAM's broadcasts are also streamed on the Internet and are drawing hundreds of thousands of additional viewers worldwide. The ministry also has a significant role in the underground house church movement in Iran.
IAM has been featured in Christianity Today, Charisma and other publications. Hormoz has been a guest on various radio and TV stations such as the 700 club and the Inspiration Channel.

Tom Doyle has just been added to our slate of Epicenter Conference team as moderator of a panel on "How To Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem."Tom's passion for the people of the Middle East began when he accepted an invitation to attend a biblical tour of the Holy Land. "The Bible came alive, and my understanding of Scripture was transformed," he recalls. "I not only fell in love with Jesus again while in Israel, but I fell in love with the people there. Both Jews and Arabs found a place in my heart. And I was thrilled to discover a vibrant, growing church in the Middle East."
In 1995, Tom began leading tours in Israel, eventually becoming an official tour guide for the State of Israel. Little did he know that God was about to take his love for the Middle East to a whole new level. "As a pastor, I admired those who served God in foreign lands; but I was glad that God hadn't called me to do that," he recalls. In June 2001, after 20 years of pastoring congregations in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico, Tom and his wife JoAnn sensed God clearly calling them to full-time ministry in the Middle East. He accepted the position of Middle East director for a ministry called e3 Partners, where he now serves as Vice President for Church and Ministry Partners, as well as Middle East Director. Tom's ministry to pastors has taken him right into the heart of the Islamic world. He knows the inside scoop when it comes to the Church in places like Iran, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, and in the Palestinian territories of Israel. He speaks frequently at churches and para-church ministries about Israel, the Middle East, the global threat of Islam, and the incredible growth of the Middle East Church since September 11, 2001.
Through his ministry with e3 Partners, Doyle loves and serves both Arabs and Jews and assists in church planting efforts. The Church in Israel and in the Middle East is healthy, vibrant, and expanding faster than at any other time in history. Tom is also the author of two books. Two Nations Under God (Broadman & Holman), explores that history of Israel and its supporters and detractors and presents some startling conclusions about the benefits and consequences for both groups. He is considered an expert on the current situation in the Middle East, particularly the tense relationship between Israel and the Palestinian people. In his latest book, Breakthrough: The Return of Hope to the Middle East (Authentic), Doyle tells the story of the reconciliation that is going on between Jews and Palestinians within the church, as the walls are coming down between Jew and Gentile and people of all backgrounds are coming to saving faith in Christ.
"The 'real answer' to the Middle East crisis is the gospel of Jesus Christ," Doyle states. "There is a new generation of Christians in the Middle East today who believe, deep in their hearts, that with Jesus all doors are open for sharing His good news…In some cases, even terrorists have become followers of Christ! A former Muslim Imam, a former tank driver for Saddam Hussein, a former terrorist in the West Bank -- these are the new leaders of the church in the Middle East. There is good news in the Middle East today. Jesus is transforming lives….Jesus is bringing permanent change to this region."
Tom has been on FOX News, The 700 Club, Daystar, The Harvest Show, and TBN. He has also been on more than 200 radio programs that include Moody Radio, Janet Parshall Live, Focus on the Family with Dr. James Dobson, Frank Pastore Live and the Calvary Chapel Radio Network. Tom also speaks at Joel C. Rosenberg events such as The 911 Town Hall Meeting and Epicenter Conferences.
Tom is married to JoAnn, and they have 6 grown children. In 2006, JoAnn launched Selah Women's ministry. Selah takes women on short-term trips to reach out to the women of the Middle East. She speaks at churches and women's groups on the plight of Muslim women in the Middle East. JoAnn has also been on Moody Radio and the Biblica podcast The Missional Mind.
