As the consummate piano accompanist, Garry Bailey is most comfortable when he speaks with his fingers. His ear for music, combined with his classical music technique and training received from Columbia University, enable him to fluidly move with great delight through the styles of contemporary and traditional Christian music, jazz and Broadway music. He tailors each keyboard arrangement to fit the singing style of the artist with whom he is working. Garry has journeyed with Insight for Living on three occasions. He is actively engaged in teaching music and frequently travels with performing vocalists. Garry and his wife, Suzanne, are based in Evansville, Indiana, and are the parents of two sons, Christopher and Andrew.

Since 1982, he's served as professor of Pastoral Ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he teaches courses in preaching, drama, oral interpretation, and creative writing. He serves on the board of directors for Insight for Living. He has authored several books and articles and has written, produced, and acted for radio, television, theater, and film. Two of his films have won Emmys, and two have received the Golden Apple Award for best educational film in America.
