Meet These Special Guests During Your Exceptional Travel Experience
All those years ago, little did the family know how God would direct their footsteps or where He would lead them. Their melody started early on as loving, Godly parents introduced their children to traditional Gospel music. As they matured, they recognized that God had given them the talents and capabilities to fulfill His calling. So they set out, with a song and a dream in their heart, leaving behind everything they knew to follow their calling. Their journey led them to the forefront of the Gospel music world. The Beene Family's uniqueness is visible from the time that they walk onto the stage. The local church has been the heartbeat of their music ministry since the beginning. While their main focus is to see every lost person they come in contact with find salvation, the Beene Family places a great deal of emphasis on uplifting family entertainment, personal encouragement and heart stirring spiritual inspiration. Pastor's across the country agree that their ministry is perfectly suited for the needs of their congregations.

The Gospel Music world was forever changed when the Cathedral Quartet announced their farewell tour after 39 years. With much prayer and consideration the Cathedral legacy moved forward by forming a new quartet. Legacy Five took the stage in January of 2000 and their music has been received with the same enthusiasm the Cathedrals garnered at the beginning of their reign. In that first year, the group recorded a project, which brought an Album of the Year nomination. The group’s first single release was also nominated for Song of the Year and reached number two on the charts. Legacy Five was off to a very successful start. Over the years, the group continued to prosper receiving numerous award nominations and releasing several top ten singles. Following the tragic passing of their beloved pianist, Roger Bennett from cancer, Legacy Five entered a new chapter. The group has been through some major challenges, but they recognize it is the blessing of God that has sustained them, and they pray that God will continue to bless their efforts as they continue to press forward faithfully.

Emerging from North Carolina 's Blue Ridge Mountains region in 1978, this family gospel group is comprised of brothers Tim and Tony along with their sister Kim. Originally accompanied by their father Everette on piano, they toured steadily in the years to follow, finally earning national recognition in 1984 when their single "Gloryland" reached the Gospel Top 40. Kim later exited the group and was replaced with sopranos Amy Lambert and Milena Parks prior to adding TaRanda Kiser in late 1997. Some of their more recent releases include the album Special Time in 1998, Wonderful Story in 1999 and So Happy in 2000. Through all the valleys and mountaintop experiences, the Greenes have pushed ever forward with the vital message of hope and grace that is found in Christ Jesus. When The Greenes turn on the energy, people just can't help getting up and dancing and having an overall fabulous time.

The story of The Freedom Singers began when Simon and Wesley arrived in Canada as stow-a-ways from their native land of Romania. Forced into the army and restricted from worshipping their God, their refusal to follow their governments order resulted in years of imprisonment and persecution. Determined to escape to freedom, Simon and Wesley faced danger and hardship fleeing. Their nightmare began in earnest when they crawled into a shipping container headed across the ocean. Coming close to death baking in the heat; tossed about in a storm they suffered from lack of oxygen, and the agony of thirst. It is only by God's grace that they are here today - alive. After arriving in Canada July of 1999, Simon and Wesley soon learned that they loved to sing. They blended their voices in duet and travel now as a trio, since Stefan, Simon's brother joined them in 2006. The name Freedom Singers is most appropriate considering what they endured to worship their God.

Everything was great in his life until the first grade! Phil was not prepared to be labeled the “UGLY KID” in school but that’s what happened. Each year worsened as Phil became beaten-down by the cruelty of his classmates. But God had a big plan for this young boy and Phil plugged into it when he gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of eleven. Since then, God has used the trials of his youth to bring a distinct depth and richness to his work. Phil credits the struggles of his youth for giving him the passion to become a minister of the Gospel through songwriting, singing, and testimony. God has miraculously lifted him, equipped him, and brought him to a place of prominence in music ministry and he has received many of gospel music's highest honors including Dove Awards, Song Of The Year, and Songwriter Of The Year honors. Phil’s strongest desire is to let everyone know that God is on their side and He has an incredible plan for their lives.
