Join this Unforgettable Christian Cruise to the Caribbean with Sandi Patty & Friends!
In the hustle and bustle of life, I find that sometimes I need to unplug and get away from it all. There seem to be so many things cluttering our life that from time to time I need to intentionally choose to spiritually reconnect.
I have the privilege of traveling to so many parts of the world to sing and share my story. I have met so many of you along the way. And yet, sometimes we need more than a concert to connect with one another and we need more than a few hours to rejuvenate our spirits.
In 2014, I’m hosting a cruise and I’m personally inviting you to join me and some special friends on an unforgettable journey to the Western Caribbean. We’ll be sailing with our partners at Inspiration Cruises & Tours on Holland America’s ms Nieuw Amsterdam. Stopping in gorgeous locations like the Cayman Islands, Cozumel and Key West, we’ll also enjoy an entire day at Half Moon Cay, Holland America’s own private island in the Bahamas. And, really, is there any place better to be during the cold winter than the sunny Caribbean?
Throughout the week you’ll hear poignant stories, powerful teaching and uplifting songs from some of my friends—singer Larnelle Harris, the musical group Selah, speaker/author Angie Smith, comedian Anita Renfroe, speaker/singer Sheila Walsh, singer/songwriter Wayne Watson, Pastor Jim Lyon and more. And of course, you’ll also get to hear from some of my family as we sing and share together.
There’s also something extra fun that we’re going to do. As you may know, my friend Larnelle and I sing a few duets together. And wouldn’t you know it, next year is the (gasp!) 30th anniversary of “More Than Wonderful.” So we’re putting together a very special choir who will sing on a new recording of “More Than Wonderful.” And, the best part is that you can be a part of, too. So, come and sing with us! Our friends at Inspiration have all of the details on how you can secure your spot in our choir.
Yes, we’re going to have a lot of fun together. But, what I am most excited about is seeing all of our stories intersect as we set sail together. Through worship, fellowship, relaxation and spiritual rejuvenation, it’s going to be a week like none other.
Please talk to our friends at Inspiration Cruises & Tours if you would like some more information. We hope to see you onboard! Mark your calendars for February 23–March 2, 2014. Come. Relax. Rejuvenate. We’ll take care of the rest!

Meet These Special Guests During Your Exceptional Travel Experience
Women around the world feel as though they’re lifelong friends with Angie Smith—and most of them have never met her in person. They’ve come to know Angie through her transparent, warm, witty blog Bring The Rain. It began as the story of her fourth daughter’s brief life and became an opportunity to combine Angie’s two greatest passions: helping to heal people’s hearts and writing. The wife of Todd Smith (lead singer of hit Christian contemporary group Selah), Angie co-wrote the song “I Will Carry You” (found on Selah’s CD You Deliver Me) and authored a book by the same name. Angie, Todd, and their daughters live in Tennessee.

Few names are as synonymous with Inspirational music as Larnelle Harris. Admired by fans and peers alike for his majestic tenor voice, Larnelle has become the epitome of talent and integrity in a career that spans over three decades. Honored with five Grammy Awards, eleven Dove Awards, including being named Male Vocalist of the Year three times, a Stellar Award and numerous other accolades, Larnelle was one of the first Christian artists to cross racial barriers and build healing bridges with predominantly white churches who had never had a black singer on their platform. He has garnered nineteen #1 radio singles and countless top 10 hits, including three top 10 national Inspirational singles coming in the past 12 months alone. Songs such as "How Excellent Is Thy Name," "I Miss My Time With You," "I've Just Seen Jesus" with Sandi Patty, plus many others, including his signature song, "Amen," are now considered modern classics.
Married to wife Cynthia (a.k.a. Mitzy) for over 35 years, Larnelle has successfully combined the demanding lifestyle of a global music ministry with being a husband and father of two grown children. Still a sought-after vocalist for special events and ceremonies, Larnelle also continues to perform solo concerts for churches and Christian organizations worldwide each year. His latest recording entitled "I WANT TO BE A STAR" has garnered three, top 20 national radio singles, including the hit "Look At Your Hands" which went to the top 3 position. Billboard Magazine dubbed "I WANT TO BE A STAR" another gem in the crown of one of Christian music's true treasures." In October 2007, Larnelle was inducted into the prestigious Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

It’s been a wild decade, going from “stay-at-home-mom” to “YouTube comedic Phe-mom-enon,” but Anita Renfroe doesn’t mind. With her unique brand of estrogen flavored musical comedy and blend of sass, edge and slightly offbeat takes on All Things Female, audiences at her comedy concert tours, viewers of Good Morning America appearances and the YouTube masses who enjoyed her William Tell version of everything a Mom says would say that Anita just tells it like it is. Some would say she just says what everyone else is thinking, but won’t say out loud.
Renfroe, who some have described as “this generation’s Erma Bombeck” has been a featured comedian on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and has filmed a sitcom pilot for Sony/ABC co-starring Ryan Stiles and the late Dixie Carter. In addition to “Good Morning America,” Renfroe’s talent has been embraced by such top media outlets as “Dr.Phil,” CBS’s “The Early Show,” Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” XM Satellite Radio Network’s “Oprah & Friends,”Inside Edition,” The Gospel Music Channel and others.
Renfroe and her husband John live in Atlanta and have three children, Calvin, Austin and Elyse, one daughter in law (Lisa), TWO GRANDBOYS (happy dance, happy dance!) and a maltipoo named Maggie.

From their inception, Selah has always been synonymous with hymns. In fact, the understated beauty of the trio’s 1999 debut, Be Still My Soul (Curb), helped initiate a hymn revival in Christian music that is still thriving today. Their discography has significantly re-popularized the church’s greatest songs while decorating the popular group with numerous Dove Awards, number one singles, sold out concert tours and over two and half million albums sold.
Taking a cue from the honesty of these historic songs of faith, Selah swaps their well-worn hymnbook for a collection of originals and choice cuts from current songwriters’ catalogs in their seventh studio recording, Hope of the Broken World (Curb). Birthed from seasons of personal hardship, Selah’s latest is a celebration of the hope Todd Smith, Allan Hall and Amy Perry have discovered through surrender to God, and a testimony to the group’s collective desire to share these stories of hope with broken people through music.

WAYNE WATSON is wearing this season of his creative life with the ease of a favorite well-worn leather jacket—relaxed and comfortable. The man whose voice and songs helped define an entire genre of Christian music throughout the ‘80’s and ‘90’s is re-connecting with his music with a new passion seemingly born at the intersection of age and wisdom.
Wayne Watson’s connection with his audience has to date produced 23 #1 singles on Christian radio—including Friend Of A Wounded Heart, When God’s People Pray, Almighty, Be In Her Eyes, Watercolour Ponies, More Of You, Another Time, Another Place, and Home Free (which became the most played song on Christian radio in 1991).
His litany of career credits include a dozen Dove Awards wins –including those for Male Vocalist of the Year in 1989, Song of The Year in that same year (Friend Of A Wounded Heart), Pop Contemporary Song of the Year and Contemporary Album of The Year (1988) with Watercolour Ponies, and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year (1992) with Home Free. He has twice been nominated for the Grammy Award—both for his performance of Watercolour Ponies (1987), and for Best Pop Gospel Album in 1992 with his stunning A Beautiful Place project.
In the 90’s Wayne Watson became one of the first major Christian artists to attract mainstream attention. He gave a groundbreaking emotionally charged performance of “Another Place, Another Time” with fellow artist Sandi Patty on NBC-TV’s Tonight Show—an event that was deemed a defining moment in Christian music’s move to wider audiences. In the late 90’s, his inspirational hit For Such A Time As This became a centerpiece theme of CBS-TV’s then highly rated series Touched By An Angel.
