Inside an Alaska Cruise: Passenger Video
Most of our passengers return from our cruises and tours with a smartphone full of photos or videos, excited to share their experience with friends back home. But an Australian vlogger (video blogger), Susan Wright, came home from this summer’s Alaska cruise with InTouch Ministries and took this to a new level. She created a narrated video of her entire week on the Alaskan coast.
The in-depth video uses a combination of music, still photos and even aerial footage from a helicopter ride to give viewers a firsthand account of exploring Alaska. It also details what a week aboard Holland America’s luxuriously appointed msWesterdam is like.
Susan and her husband were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on the trip, which visited beautiful destinations like Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Hubbard Glacier. From reviews of the food and activities to details of the Wrights’ excursions in port, this video is a wonderful introduction to the experience of an Inspiration cruise. They saw bald eagles and whales. They flew over Mendenhall Glacier. They hiked and biked in Sitka, met the mayor of Ketchikan, spent time with new friends and enjoyed seeing Dr. Charles Stanley and Andy Stanley interact throughout the week.
“I loved the whole experience,” Susan says. “It was like a glimpse of heaven, being able to meet so many wonderful people, go on awesome adventures, plus hear wonderful teaching and concerts. And of course the beauty of Alaska was breathtaking. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 25th anniversary.”
