Travel Weekly Honors Inspiration with Two Magellan Awards
Our focus at Inspiration is two-fold. First and foremost, we want our passengers on cruises and tours to experience unforgettable moments—with their families, with new friends and with God—while enjoying the most beautiful destinations on the planet.
Second, we want to provide incredible value and service to our ministry partners. Whether working with a large national ministry, a group of musicians or a church, we create once-in-a-lifetime events that connect these brands with the people that love them. Obviously our main focus is providing exceptional travel experiences. But as a side benefit, we also use these events to help expand the influence and platform of our ministry partners, giving them a profound opportunity to reach new followers or consumers. That’s why, in addition to the travel management details of itineraries and accommodations, we also help our ministry partners market their events.
That last service—the marketing element—recently earned international recognition for our company. Travel Weekly is a highly regarded news resource within the travel industry.. It is one of the most influential business publications in the world, read by travel professionals on every continent.
Travel Weekly’s annual Magellan Awards honor “the best in travel” across a variety of categories, including familiar names like American Express, Delta Air Lines, Holland America Line, and Hyatt Regency.
In the 2018 Magellan Awards, two of Inspiration’s promotional campaigns won in the Advertising/Marketing category for Travel Agent Organizations. One was a “Best of Christian Travel” campaign that promoted our upcoming cruises and tours with select ministry partners. The other was a “Christian Tours of D.C.” campaign focused on our nation’s capital and the Museum of the Bible.
These campaigns not only highlighted our services, but our ministry partners’ events as well. We love that our talented creative team found a way to shine a light on the churches, Christian organizations and musical artists who make our cruises and tours so memorable for travelers.
We’re grateful for this award. But more than anything else, we are honored that so many Kingdom-impacting ministries, pastors, performers and churches choose to partner with us every year. From our marketing products to our expertly designed itineraries, we do everything we can to help travelers encounter God in meaningful ways. These moments are critical to our mission.
