Before travel, be sure you and your children are up to date on all routine immunizations according to schedules approved by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice (ACIP). See a complete schedule of immunizations for adults here. Travelers originating from outside the U.S. should consult their country’s embassy regarding specific requirements for entry into each and every country of destination.

International regulations for disabilities are very different than those in the U.S., few destinations have modified hotel rooms and tourist sites are not required to have ramps or elevators. Most tours require physical activities involving a need for you to be in good health and able to climb stairs without assistance, walk at a modest pace over uneven terrain and be able to transport your own luggage. If you have a medical condition which might limit your participation in activities, please consult your physician before booking and notify us immediately.

Note: If you require assistance during travel, we require that you bring a traveling companion to assist you.

Your travel documents will arrive via FedEx approximately 30 days prior to departure. Should you need your documents sooner or delivered to an alternate address, please call our office at 800 247 1899 to advise us.

Yes. Proof of citizenship is required for all travelers, and passports are required for all tours outside the U.S. (must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel). All non-citizens of the U.S. must have passports, visas and other documentation normally required for entry into the country of destination.

Note: For a list of approved documents, please visit this website.

Please plan to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your international flight departure.

Airport transfers to and from the event hotel are included in the tour package and will be arranged for you if you have purchased your flight through ICT. If you have made your own flight arrangements, we will be able to arrange your transfers to and from the hotel as long as you provide us with your flight itinerary at least 90 days prior to your departure.

Traveling With Children

Under most circumstances women may travel up to their 24th week of pregnancy. Since airline policies vary with regard to traveling during a pregnancy, please contact our office for further information and policy requirements.

Passengers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent or guardian who is at least 25 years old in the same room.

Disclaimer: Due to international regulations, regardless of the relationship of the adult traveling companion, all children (anyone under the age of 18) must have written consent or provide a copy of a death certificate should one or both parents be deceased. This written consent must accompany the child during their travel.

While we hope you will join us on one of our exceptional events, we discourage passengers from touring with infants due to the challenge of long touring days and the difficulty of navigating challenging terrain.

Change to Disclaimer (below): Children traveling with only one parent or guardian must have written consent signed by the non traveling parent or legal guardian, or a copy of a death certificate should one or both parents be deceased. This written consent must accompany the child during their travel.

The price for children is the same as adults on tours.

Packing Tips

Bring good, comfortable aerobic walking shoes or sandals with rubber soles. You can dress accordingly for the entire day or you can bring a shirt and wrap-around skirt or larger pull- on pants to go over whatever you are wearing that day. You will want to bring your favorite cap, straw hat or sun visor. You will need a practical head covering for touring under the sun and for visiting holy places. Additional information on what to pack will be provided with your confirmation in our Welcome Aboard or Tour booklet.

We recommend that each passenger travel with no more than one large suitcase and one carry-on. Many airlines charge additional fees for checked luggage. For applicable and current information regarding luggage allowances and fees, please contact your airline directly.

Touring Questions

The amount of spending money you bring is a personal choice. The majority of your purchases can be done with a credit card. If you prefer using cash, we suggest using small bills as they are easier to exchange than larger bills.

Breakfast and dinner are included with most tours. Check the information for your tour for specific information on meals.

No. Basic gratuities for the hotels, guides and drivers are included. You are always free to give an extra gratuity for exemplary service.

Yes. Ironing services differ with each hotel. Most hotels have either a self service laundry room with an iron or offer laundry service for an additional fee. Some hotels have irons in the guestrooms.

A tour schedule will be sent to you with your travel documents. Once you arrive for the tour, there will be a banner in every hotel lobby listing the following day's schedule.

In most cases, participants will be able to use their personal cell phones (be sure to activate International call plans before leaving) or use hotel phones to receive calls. In case of emergencies, contacting Inspiration Cruises & Tours is the best course of action.

While each day and destination is different, most tours require walking several miles at a moderate pace each day in order to fully participate in the events as scheduled.
